Gundam fut extrêmement novateur a l’époque, les épisodes se suivent et créent une véritable saga, les humain en deviennent plus important que les robot relégué au plan de mécha comme le serait une voiture dans une série Policière. On est loin des séries du même genre de l’époque comme Mazinger.
